• City owned property on SW 3rd - plan and disposition - sell city owned property in uptown area and get it back on the tax rolls
• Delivery of comprehensive plan - guides future development
• Standards for drainage and erosion - policy for managing stormwater effectively, instead of pushing it downstream faster
• Update urban renewal/TIF districts - review and renewal of citywide TIF districts
• Northeast 36th Street interchange at I-35 - support city, county, state and federal program to complete an interchange at NE 36th Street
• Comprehensive plan to enhance business parks
• Prairie Trail: infrastructure development of the retail "District"

• School-City relationship and direction - define and strengthen relationship between the city and school district
• Developer accountability for commitments - holding developers accountable for financial commitments
• Stormwater projects: direction and funding

• Econ development tools and direction - Identify what we need to do to remain competitive in the commercial development arena
• TIF for NE 36th interchange at I-35 - to support development around the new interchange
• Crosswinds/Corporate Woods direction and action
• Business expansion and retention - strategy to encourage current Ankeny businesses to remain and expand in Ankeny
